It Starts With Our Principals

Each of the three principals of Paramount has more than 23 years of experience in real estate development.

Tom Settle, Principal

  • Developed 8,000+ apartments
  • Heavily experienced in developing “luxury” (class A) apartments
  • Specializes in site selection, government relations, product design, etc.
  • Was project partner at P.A.C Land development (1995-2012) prior to joining Beneficial Communities / Paramount Partners
  • Attended the University of Florida and graduated from the University of Cincinnati

Don Paxton, Principal

  • Has been developing apartments in more than 25 states for the past 23 years
  • With more than 150 completed projects, he has been responsible for the development two of the once-largest multi-family developers in the county
  • Has a focus on operations amongst all other aspects of the business
  • Experienced in dealing with piecing together complicated capital stack, both public and private
  • Is a graduate of the University of Florida with a business degree focused on Real Estate and Economics
